It’s Wishcasting Wednesday over at Jamie Ridler Studios. This week she’s asking, “What belongings do you wish for?”
A king-sized bed.
If you co-sleep, you know why.
What’s that? You’re not a co-sleeping family?
Just wait. When you have a kiddo old enough to climb out of her bed and into yours, you’ll know why!
If I could travel back in time for a do-over on my prenatal registry, I’d add “KING SIZED BED” near the top of the list!
Until then, I’m dreaming of space to sleep with ease. A space where the kids can sprawl and we parents can still sleep in peace. A space where we can all snuggle and giggle and flip and flop on a Saturday morning as the sun comes streaming through the window.
A king-sized bed. Because our cozy queen is just a little too little for us and our littles.

More about Wishcasting Wednesdays: Creative spirit Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, has claimed the middle of the week as Wishcasting Wednesday: “Wishcasting Wednesday is a safe haven for wishes, a fertile field in which to plant wish seeds and have them witnessed and tended lovingly. It’s a place where magic begins … Make a wish: Dare to dream. What would happen if every week you made a wish? What magic might start to stir?”

As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.
Great list! As Jenni wishes for herself, so I wish for her also. ~diana
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you also. Here’s to a bed big enough for everyone!
Sounds like a perfectly reasonable wish!
As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you as well.
A king-sized bed sounds great! As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.
As you wish for yourself, so do I wish for you also.
Never had that problem with my kids, they loved their own rooms and beds too much!
As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.
LOVE your wish! I was a La Leche “League Mom” back in the 70s, & yep, co-sleeping families! Both my grown kids (5 grandkids: 1, 7 & 12; …. 6 & 8) …. I often spend the night with the family of 3, & sometimes sleep with the 7 & 12 year old (they have their own rooms, but still snuggle up in the larger bed! Babe, of course, is in w/mom & dad
As a girl, I loved times my dad was off on a trip (an occasional church meeting out of state) & I got to snuggle in MY mom’s bed!! Though she ‘warned’ me NOT to sleep with my older child …. tee hee!
As you wish for your family, so I also wish!
